Configuration Complete: Model A111

Improving upon our popular Alpha (Gen 2), the Gen 3 Elzetta Alpha A111 Modular Flashlight has a redesigned LED driver circuit that produces exceptional performance using a high drain IMR RCR123 cell while remaining safe and compatible with a CR123 primary cell.

Weighing just 3.4 ounces and measuring only 3.8 inches in length, the A111 is the smallest configuration in the Elzetta lineup.  It is tiny in size but huge in performance.

Description

With its tactically-correct Rotary Tailcap and smooth Standard Bezel Ring, Elzetta Alpha A111 delivers.

This compact Elzetta Alpha A111 tactical LED flashlight delivers 535 lumens of neutral-tint white light projecting through a solid acrylic optical lens producing a soft-edge beam that cannot be replicated by any reflector-based flashlight. Power is provided by a single CR123A battery (included), or one RCR123 rechargeable cell.  This pocket-sized LED flashlight (the smallest flashlight we make) produces more light than most large D-Cell flashlights. The non-latching Rotary Tailcap assures that light is only produced as long as the button is depressed (constant-on operation is achieved by rotating the Tailcap fully clockwise).  Made in USA to the highest standards and guaranteed forever.

When using a high drain IMR RCR123 cell, the Alpha Gen3 A111 unleashes a 10-second burst of 800 lumens before the output is subtly tapered off over a period of approximately 30 seconds, then regulated to a constant 535 lumens. This subtle tapering is designed intentionally, so as to not distract the user with a sudden drop in luminosity during critical operations. The burst mode resets every time the power is cycled off and back on again, so the burst mode can be more easily perceived after the light has been on for at least 20-30 seconds, then cycled off and back on again.

When using a primary CR123 cell as fuel, the A111 will produce a 10-second burst of 535 lumens, then subtly regulate down to a constant 435 lumens.

A high frequency strobe is now fully integrated into the head and can be activated by double-tapping the switch. Simply cycle the light off to disengage the strobe function.

NOTE: There is no “High/Strobe” tailcap for Alpha Gen3! Strobe mode is integrated into the head and is activated with a simple double-click of the switch on ANY tailcap. DO NOT USE ALPHA GEN2 “HIGH/LOW” OR “HIGH/STROBE” WITH ALPHA GEN3! IT WILL DESTROY THE GEN2 TAILCAPS!
